Will Bleeding During Pregnancy Terminating In Miscarriage Recur During Next Pregnancy?

Hi Dr, I just had a miscarriage in my 7 weeks as I started to bleed and this is my second miscarriage. My 1st pregnancy was terminated in my 6th month as my BP was high and to save my life, my pregnancy was terminated. Even in my 1st pregnancy I did have bleeding problems. Please can you let me know if this problem will continue next time as well. Can I even have a baby?

Hello,

This time you had induced abortion due to medical problems. But this time, it was spontaneous. There are various reasons for miscarriages. But don't worry, most of the time it is not recurrent. Meanwhile, you can go for a thyroid test and antiphospholipid antibody (APLA) tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jyotsna Harlalka Kamra
