Will ORSL Be Effective For Stomach Pain And Diarrhea?

Sir, my wife is having stomach pain/diarrea and arm pair a week. Y day a doc specified Cyclopam and Ogyro-z. with one each tablet consumed, started acute weakness and dousiness. Even after 24hrs, little improvement seen. But doc says to take ORSL for a day. Can anyone help me with possible reasons for this? And how can she recover. thanks.

Hi and welcome to HCM. Your wife is suffering from gastroenteritis and your doctor has prescribed right medicines. Cyclopam helps in stomach pain and fever, . ORS is oral rehydration solution which is prescribed for patients with diarrhea, which helps in preventing dehydration. Ask her to drink lots of fluids, and most of diarrhea cases are self limiting and it takes 2 or 3 days to subside. If your wife still feels sick then its better to admit to hospital for proper care.
