Widal Test Post Treatment Showed Negative S Typhi O, B, H, Values For H, A. Further Treatment Advise?
A middle aged Indian Male , with previously Positive Widal ( S.Typhi O : 1/160 ; S.Typhi: H : 1/160 ; S.Para Typhi A , B , C all Neg-ve/1/20) .Took Tab . Ciprofloxacin 750mg-Bd for 14 days and became asymptomatic . Reviewed again after 01 week with repeat Widal showing : S.Typhi O : Neg -ve ; S. Typhi H: 1/160 ; S.Para Typhi A-H : 1/320 ; S.Para Typhi B-H : Neg-ve ; S.Para Typhi C-H : Neg-ve . Please interpret the results and advise further Workup.

tab pantaprazole 40mg once a day
