Why There Is Soreness Across My Chest?
I have had issues with bulimia for 20 years. The past 13 years, I have had a great deal of control over it but still have my moments of weakness. I've often worried about any damage I may have done. Friday, January 27 - I had endometrial ablation done and was given general anesthesia. Since then, I have had severe heartburn, especially at night, and this afternoon, I couldn't even life my arms up to my head without feeling like all of the muscles in my chest had been pulled. I did take Ibuprofen for two days straight so originally I was leaning towards thinking maybe an ulcer or something. But, with the soreness across my chest that started today, I started to worry about a heart issue. What should I do?

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of heart related disease is less likely but due to history of general anaesthesia, better to get done ecg and 2d echo first to rule out heart diseases.
If both are normal than no need to worry for heart diseases.
General a can cause gastritis. So possibility of gastritis is more for your symptoms. You also took ibuprofen. This can also worsen gastritis.
So better to take proton pump inhibitors. Avoid painkiller drugs. Avoid stress and tension.
Avoid hot and spicy food.
Avoid junk food. Avoid large meals.
Drink plenty of fluids orally.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
