Good Morning Doc!!My husband had blood in the urine last march. He had a biopsy done and the biopsy gave a mixed result of HSP and glomurali inflammation.Treatment was done and everything is fine since then except BP.He is under medication for High BP only now since no other problem is pertaining. 2 days back in his regular urine test, the report came as 2-4 hpf of RBC(microscopic urine analysis as no blood was seen in urine), 1-2 HPF of PUS cells and protein+. He is having beetrrot juice on daily basis from last 40 days. what could be the reason for RBC in blood?
The possible reason is urinary tract infection of low grade. Curable with proper antibiotics, urinary alkaliser, and plenty of liquids.
