Why Is One Unable To Conceive?

I have been trying to conceive for 5 months which has proven unsuccessful. Prior to this I had a miscarriage, however I do have two children who were conceived naturally and very quick like wise with the lost child. I have regular 28-30 DC and therefore am starting to wonder whether ovulation is occurring as I have noticed a difference in the flow levels of my periods each month.

Hallow Dear,

The very fact you have conceived twice with very successful outcomes and conceived once ending in a miscarriage proves that you have capacity to conceive.

You may plan the sexual intercourse on and around the day of egg release (ovulation). Ultrasound is the best option for ovulation monitoring. From day 9 of the cycle, submit yourself for ultrasound ovulation monitoring. Usually, a healthy egg is released from the follicle after the follicle achieves size of 18mm. On and around this day, have sexual intercourses daily, or at least alternate days.

If this method also fails, then you will have to report to the Gynaecologist and get yourself examined and tested for patency of the reproductory tract and semen examination. Some recent infections may affect them.

I hope this serves the purpose for the time being. If planning intercourse fails, you may ask me direct question for further guidance.
