According to history you can have alcohol induced liver affection. Your work up done is as follow:
- Peripheral smear examination for schistocytes (fragmented rbc) and normoblast - reticulocyte count - USG abdomen - hbsag by ELISA - Serum albumin if needed - liver enzymes estimation
According to reports, further work up plan can be decided. Stop taking alcohol. If with stoppage of alcohol liver profile becomes normal then there is no need for active intervention treatment.
If steatosis like presentation is there in USG then udiliv and vitamin E tablet is prescribed. Consult a physician or gastroenterologist for examination with keeping all this in mind.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
