I frequently fall ill in this pattern - [once every 30-40 days] dryness and pain type feeling in throat and feeling like throwing up. followed by running nose. Next day mild fever that comes and goes quick, then cold and phlegm deposition. The third/forth day i get wet cough that may go for a week till phelgm goes away.
I am so sorry to hear about this repeated cycles. It can be very troubling to deal with this every now and then. This most likely represents an allergic reaction. I would suggest that you try and monitor what the changes around these period are like cold exposure, pollen, certain environments, etc so as to map the cause and keep away from. If you should manage and get this done, then you would be able to break this cycle. Also, trying anti histamines at the beginning of the symptoms may offer some relief and prevent progression. If these measures should fail, then please consult and ENT specialist for detailed assessment and treatment.
