Why Do I Have Heartburn Even After Taking Prevacid For 1 Month?

I had my lap band removed on April 19, 2013 the band was eroded so the surgen Dr. Prescribed me Prevasid for 1 month after I was done with it now I am having allot of heartburn none stop is this something temporary I fill like something is on my esophagus. My email is YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

Prevacid may not be that effective especially if you are taking it for a long time, you may need to change it for a while, take Nexium tab as an example.
