Hallow Dear,

I am indeed sorry to read the ultrasonography findings. At 11 weeks gestation, the sac is just about 6 weeks size; that too without foetal pole. This is a clear case of blighted ovum where the gestational sac is empty due to absent embryo. Such pregnancies do not grow. Termination of the pregnancy is the strategy to handle such condition.

I would have preferred to give to Tab. Mifepristone 200 mg followed by Tab. Misoprostol 24-48 hours after. This combination is quite effective and safe for termination of pregnancy. Since, Misoprostol only has failed in terminating your pregnancy, you may try this regime. The other alternative option is surgical evacuation of the uterus.

I hope this helps you.
