Why Are Legs Swollen After Raking Atrax And T. Griseofulvin For Tinea Corporis?

My father was diagnosed with tinea corporis for which he was prescribed T. gresiofulvin 250mg and T. Atarax 10mg. But he is still itchy even though its been almist 15days since he started the trestment. His legs are swollen. By the end of the day the swelling will be so much that he finds its difficult to walk and it will also be very painful. The other medication he takes are Glycomet GP1and Betacard AM. Could you please tell me the reason for the swelling on the legs.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Your father has got tenea corporis, but at the same time he also got diabetis and hypertension as well.
His diabetis also should be taken care of and should see whether it is under control or not.
Hypertension or the drugs used for hypertension may cause the swelling of the feet.
If these 2 are under control the tenea corporis will be controlled easily as well the swelling.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
