Why Am I Feeling Dizziness And Headache And Many Times My Head Spin?

Hi, I'm 25 female and have been having the worst dizziness which has gotten worse over the last 4 days. I have had on and off headaches and the left side of my tongue randomly goes numb. I lose my balance quite a bit and feel too dizzy to drive. It doesn't matter If I am sitting or standing, my head spins and my vision is sometimes blurry. I can't concentrate or remember like normal so that concerns me. I had a baby 9 months ago and stopped breastfeeding 2 months ago and have yet to regain a period. Not sure if that matters or not. Please help!:)

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

Here you are having vertigo problem....
It could be central or peripheral....
Your examination and detail history must be taken....

Vestibular function test can be done to decide whether it is central or peripheral....
The cause can be labyrinthitis or neurinitis or there can be brain stem or cerebellum involvement....

Take bed rest....
Vestibular suppresent like meclizine given....
If needed short term steroid needed.

For central vertigo work up CT or MRI needs to be done ....

Take care
