Why Am I Suffering From Shooting Pain And Severe Bleeding After Having Minimally Invasive Procedure?

I had a minimally invasive procedure 3 weeks ago. I kept my ovaries and cervix. I thought my recovery was going well. Yesterday, I started having shooting pain and then last night I started gushing blood while I was in bed. Later that evening I passed a very long and large clot. I called my doctor and will be seen on Monday. She called this stutation an oddity. I m confused as to why this happened.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The expulsion of blood clots a few days after the procedure is at times seen with women who have undergone the procedure, but this is short lived. As for the gushing blood, this as your doctor said is an oddity and possible bleeding from intra-operatively cauterized blood vessels should be considered and safely ruled out. Do visit your doctor at the earliest and let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
