Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have genital warts and during two office visits with PCP and Health Dept. They suggested using a prescribed medicine to be applied. That didn't work, so they tried freezing them to have them removed. Is laser procedure the only option I have left to have them removed?
Since you've already tried some of the less invasive methods, laser is definitely an option for warts that are stubborn and don';t respond to the other treatments. your doctor can also try a topical acid, but if freezing didn't work, then I doubt that will either. There are other options such as simply burning them or cutting them off, but laser is most likely the best next step to take. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any further questions
