Which Is The Best Treatment For A Rash On My Infant's Upper Chest?

Hello - my 7 week old son has had a rash on his upper chest, shoulders and face for the past three weeks. Our pediatrician recommended using calamine lotion on it to help with the itchiness. I'm not sure I'm comfortable doing so as many articles I've read has said not to use it on infants. What would you recommend?

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Probabaly the baby is developing seboerrhoec dermatitis.
Personal hygiene like daily bathing and not applying oil will prevent this.
Many antifungal shampoos are available in the market like citralak 5% mild can be used for bathing the baby.
Apply antifungal dusting powder after bath.
Occasionally mild steroidal creams are also advised to apply.
Hope the query is answered.
Thanks
