Which is the best alternative supplement to choose if I stop breastfeeding my 15 month daughter ?

Hi, I m a working mother of a 15 month daughter. I m still breastfeeding her twice a day (morning and night). I would like to completely stop breastfeeding in a months time, everyone suggest me to continue till she is 2yrs old. Should i continue breastfeeding or can i stop? If i stop can i start her on pastureised milk, what flavoured powder can be used which has good protiens and vitamins . Thanks.

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum
you must start weaning means withdrawing breast milk
after 6 month it should be start ,you are late but dont worry ,it is not too late
there is no benefit in continue till 2 year
at this age baby need extra nutrient for body growth which milk can not provide
pasteurized milk is good with protein powder of standard company will help
start with liquid and semisolid food and than shift to solid food
I hope I have answered your question

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic forum!

You can stop breast feeding in the daytime but if you still wish to give your daughter

breastmilk you can pump it and store it in a botlle and ask her babysitter to give her

the milk she will be getting the nutrients as well as she will get to wean herself slowly.

but to keep you attached to your baby breastfedding at night is good. however do

not brestfeed her after she falls asleep at night. you can start her on pastuerised milk

safely now. You dont need to use flavoured powders till she is two years old.

When she is two years old you can start her on pediasure.

wishing you good health
