When Will Pregnancy Show Up In HPT?

I had an abortion about an month ago.... 2 weeks after I had unprotected sex... My breast are becoming tender once again && when touched clear fluids leak... I still feel hunger pains... I took a pregnancy test (Negative)... Could I be pregnant again?? How long should I wait to take another pregnancy test??

Hello and welcome,

An HPT will show a positive result 3 weeks after unprotected sex using the first morning urine sample for best results.

So please see if you are taking the test too early. If yes, then repeat it after 3 weeks from the date of unprotected sex to rule out pregnancy.
