When I Sit Down Or Lay Down Left Leg Feels Numb But No Pain. Having Back Pain Too. Treatment?

Whenever I sit down or lay down my left leg feels numb.I don't have any pain. And its not like the tingle numb. Just really uncomfortable and seems to be more from my knee down but I do feel it on the back of my thigh. I also have both feet are under a blanket and my left foot is cold and my right isnt. And it feels fine when I stand up. I had been having back pain for a couple weeks but its not as bad as it was.

Hello,

While sitting quite long the nerves are stretched against bony prominences which causes numbness.

It is normal. You will be ok once you stand up.

Compromised blood flow to the limbs causes cold limbs.

If it persist then you may require a Doppler scan to assess the vascular status of the blood vessels.
