Whats The Cause For Loss Of Vision In Patients With RA & Sjogrens Syndrome?

i have both rhuematoid arthritis and sjogren's syndrome. for the past few months i have been experiencing vision loss for about 75% of the day which gets worse when i stand. if i stand more than 10 or 15 minutes i lose my vision completely. what could be causing this?

Hi !
There is extreme dryness of eyes in these disorders.
In my practice if any one comes with this I usually prescribe him a good lubricating drop and ointment (may it be CMC + Glycerine eye drops and Lacrygel eye oint at bed time.) If it is not helping much, then omega 3 fatty acid pills are added and Tacroment eye oint may also be prescribed. ) Hope to get help by this.
