i ambipolarandhavebeenonmanymanydrugsfordepression. my dr. refuses tobemydranymorebecauseirefusedtogotothe er andprobleyendupintheloonybinorthecorrectnameisthepsychward. i have beeninthere3timesandwilltellyouthepschwardistnemostdegradingplaceinthiscity.ihaveameetingwithacounselernextwk.ihneed to call my regular dr and see if he will prescribe celexa for my depression.i have beeb on so many different kinds of pshicotic drugs which never helped. i used to be on celexa yrs ago and it helped.

There are a couple of things you need to understand: 1) Celexa is not a good drug for bipolar depression. It may not help your depression and further it increases the chances of you switching to mania. 2) Bupropion would be a better option with valproate or lithium or lamotrigine. 3) If your doctor has advised you admission, it could be for the reason that you could be having a risk of self harm.
