ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

As an ENT specialist I suspect DNS (deviated nasal septum) in your case in this condition there is compensatory hypertrophy of turbinates in other nostril this may be reason for your alternating nose block.

I recommend you to visit your ENT specialist and get your nose examined and investigations like diagnostic nasal endoscopy and CT scan PNS.

Treatment is Septoplasty or submucus resection of septum and recurrence is none.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Siddartha
