What Should I Do For The Hole In Right Tonsil And Pain After Swallowing?

I had tonsillitis a couple of months ago and since then I've noticed a hole in my right tonsil and what looks like scarring on them both.
My right tonsil is now starting to hurt again when I swallow.
Is it possible to stop tonsilitis before it hits me fully?

Hello

The hole in the tonsil is a normal thing and you dont have to worry about it.The pain which is coming now is due to an infection developing and you may need antibiotics for the same. Please meet your ent doctor for the prescription. You can try to prevent the infection by regularly gargling with warm salt water , and if this does not work, ask your doctor for getting the tonsils removed surgically.
Thanks
