What Should Be My Daily Calorie Intake If I Plan To Lose 2-3 Kgs A Month ?

Hi , I am 21 yo male. height :6 . broad skeletal built. Although i don t appear that fat but I found that I weigh 114 kgs. What can be my maximum ideal weight, what should be my calorie intake so that I can loose weight. I plan to shed 2 to 3 kgs per month. What exercise should I do to reduce my hips and stomach and get a proper chest . My maternal side runs a habit of obesity . I don t indulge in excessive eating and don t smoke or drink. I don t suffer from any other illness like thyroid etc. Please advise. Suresh.

hello,
reduce high calorie foods. add more dietary fibres to food. regular excercise specially cardio. reduce salt intake. avoid fatty junk food. drink lot of water.avoid stress,alcohol,smoking.sleep should be adequate.take food atleast 2 hr prior to sleep in night.pranayam and yoga are very helpful.follow these as a routine. take care.

Hello Suresh,

Your ideal weight should be around 80 to 85 Kilos.
Calorie consumption for your build should be around 2000 to 2200 cals.
Slowly you should try to reduce it by 1500 cals in span of say 6 months.
Also you should get into vigorous activities such as cardio, dynamic yoga or jog-walking etc.
Through exercise you should burn 300 cals a day. (4-5 times/week)

You could also use a tailor made Diet-Chart to achieve your weight loss.
