What Should Be Done After Taking Lithium Carbonate For 47 Years?
I ve been taking lithium carbonate for 47 years now. Only lately my physician (who has been reading some negative articles about long term use) wants me to stop. I would be terrified to do so and even if it means a shorter life for me I d rather deal with that than return to the extremely manic state I used to experience.
Hello Lithium carbonate you are using from last 47 years without any harm and successfully for your requirement . Now it is absolutely useless to stop this drug just due to fear of negative article in some paper . In my opinion as I have seen in my many patients that they were on so called many medicines from 30-40 years without any side effects , so you can use it . Good luck.
