Hi,
Welcome to HCM. I have read & understood your concern.
Though ectopic pregnancy need not be there in every pregnancy, the incidence rises with one ectopic pregnancy.
Unfortunately no option is available to prevent ectopic pregnancy.( except for adoption ) Any woman planning for a baby can have ectopic pregnancy.
* Early detection( br beta HCG assessment & trans vaginal USG) is only way to prevent complications & surgery caused by tubal / ectopic pregnancy.
* Few medicines like low dosage of Methotrixate can selctivly destroy the ectopic pregnancy & save surgery.
thanks
