What Medication Advisable For Elevated Pulse Rate?

hi, I am diabetic hypertensive patient with nephrotic syndrome; I take for diabetes diamicron 30 mg and 2 doses of janumet 50/1000 then for hypertension: amlodipine 5 mg, tritace 5 mg and Lasix 40 mg as diuretic but my blood pressure is still 170/95 should I take with those drugs concor because my pulse is 90/ min. or this is risky? many thanks

Concor (bisoprolol) can be added to your regimen. It's not the pulse rate of 90/min that is worrisome. It's the blood pressure of 170/95.
Concor can be added to reduce the blood pressure and it also helps to lower down the pulse rate. But I don't see 90/min as many normal individuals have it upto 100/min.
Concor has to be started at low dose and titrated with respect to your blood pressure readings. Olease do it under the instruction of your consultant with regular monitoring of blood pressure.
