What Makes To Feel A Stitch Below Ribcage For A Diabetic?

Hi. I started to get what feels like a stitch on my left side, below the ribcage, but it feels painful when I press on it. I have recently been told by my GP that I have the early stages of diabetes. I have been told, by a friend that I might have a swollen appendix. I m getting very worried about this.

Hi
pain below the rib cage may be gastritis or some lung pathology etc .Appendicitis is inflammation of appendix and pain occurs at mcburney's point a place between umbilicus and iliac bone. This pain is in the lower abdomen and not below rib cage.
So consult your family doctor and after examining you he may relive your anxiety regarding appendicitis. Also he may treat your pain below rib cage
Hope this answers your query
