8 kg in 9 months is very good weight for your child
parents always feel that child is not putting on weight or that the child is not having proper diet
plz remove that kind of perception from your mind
Give your child proper diet and good quantity of milk which is more than sufficient to give him a very good health

Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum

Is your baby underweight for his/her age? Are there any illness/symptoms?
Your pediatrician must be keeping a record of his/her weight in reation to age and height, please see the growth chart, does it indicate that your baby is underwieght.

If yes, then diet changes are required. Commercial preparation are helpful for babies who do not eat or are very picky about food.

if there is an illness, like recurrent infections etc, then you can visit a homoepath for treatment, once he/she gets better , weight will increase.

Try mashed bananas, mashed apples, and feed him on demand. I hope you have stopped breast feeding by now, baby needs more then breast milk, at this age.
