What Is To Be Done After An Cardiac Arrest?

My mother in law suffered a cardiac arrest and stopped breating; in route to the hospital she had to be revived again, subsequently she was put in a induced coma, after 24 hours the reversal has been very slow what should we look for during the next 72 hours

Hi,

They will keep her in induced coma to prevent brain damage, but the outcome is difficult to predict. You should be patient and wait, if she is stable in 24 hours, then chances for recovery are better.
