What Is The Use Of Serratiopeptidase And Diclofenac Tablets?

i am 25 years old girl and unmarried. My last date of periods was 17 oct 2011.then i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 28th oct. After that i did not get my periods . I checked with home pregnancy urine test on 11th dec and then on 20 dec. Both times it was negative. Then i had very little and scanty bleeding on 25 dec morning which ended itself in night of that day and after that today is 4 jan and still i am nt having my periods. I am afraid that i am pregnant so i visited a gynaecologist. She asked me to get an ultrasonography report and prescribed me tablets serratiopeptidase diclofenac for 10 days twice a day and some tablets of iron. Can u please help me because i am afraid that i might be pregnant and i dont know wat these medicines are for?

Hi,

I would suggest you to get your ultrasound done. It is highly unlikely for any chance of pregnancy, since both the pregnancy tests are negative. Diclofenac is an pain killer and also an anti-inflammatory drug.

Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme based drug which also reduces swelling or in duration. You may have been prescribed these drugs if you have mentioned any abdominal pain or cramps. But I would suggest you take the scan before starting the drug.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
