Hi,

Your child is having vitiligo on head means on scalp. The vitiligo on scalp takes long time to recover. I usually advise to apply trioxsalen lotion on scalp daily to my such patient. And presribe tioxsalen tab 10 mg daily morning and levamesole 50 mg at night in child having vitiligo. 5 min exposure to sun may be advised during 11 am to 3 pm after trioxsalen application. The lesions on face may be treated by application of tacrolimus oint 0.1%. I hope this would be helpful to your child.

Thanks.
