What Is The Treatment For Throat Pain And Nasal Congestion?
my 10 year old boy is having quiet a pain in the throat , and has severe nasal congestion . we are giving him amox 250 and antiallergy. but the worry is that his head is really spinning and he gets out of breath on walking about a meter this has never happened to him before and it is not the first time he has suffered from throat problems and also at the moment he is not wheezing. Breathlessness on exertion can be due to many a reasons:
- Asthma
- Cardiac problems
- Pneumonia
- Allergic problems with respiratory system
Head spinning can be due to severe weakness, low oxygenation due to diseases as mentioned above or an actual problem with inner ear structure like imbalance of the fluid in semicircular canals. Go for clinical evaluation by a pediatrician and second opinion of an ENT and / or pulmonologist. Continue with medicines. Ask for detailed investigations like that of blood, pulmonary function tests, cardiac evaluation and so on. Further management as per the findings.
