Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
You have not mentioned what is complain of your son. Because spondylolysthesis can be a normal finding on x ray. If your son complain of back pain than it is ziggy of weakness. I would recommend you to go for physiotherapy for your won. This will strengthen his back muscles. Till that time he should avoid heavy weight lifting or bending forward. Surgical procedure is also an option if physiotherapy does not work.
