What Is The Treatment For Lack Of Sexual Desire?

Just got my testosterone checked and it came back at 254. I am a 49 year old male, non smoker, non drinker, I do have weight issues I am 5'11" and 272 pounds. I suffer from arthritis in knees, shoulders, and back, to the extent it makes it difficult for me to do any type of physical activity other than walking and then on level ground. I have noticed a significant loss in sexual desire but have no ED issues.

hello dear, first of all try to reduce weight this will help you.for loss of sexual desire i prescribe antidepressant in low dose to my patients attending the clinic.this can be due to drugs you are taking for arthritis consult your treating physician for this.

For correct assessment of free testosterone, you should get it checked at 8.30 AM , give 2 samples 15 minutes apart and request for Total testosterone, SHBG level and Serum Albumin . Then the value is calculated by a complex formula. This would be the actual free testosterone available .Besides, Get TSH and Serum Prolactin as well to assess hormonal causes Pl contact me again after the reports
