Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
I have gone carefully through your concern.
There is a viral infection that affects the tyroid gland, causing temporary hyperthyroidism that does not need treatment.
It is confirmed by checking ESR and protein C reactive. Chlamydia and gonorrhea do not cause hyperthyroidism.
Hope the information will help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
