What Is The Treatment For High Fever In A Child?

my son has had a fever around 100-102 for the last week, and only at night, i have given him Tylenol which has helped bring the fever down, but he still tells me that he is sick but cant explain what is wrong, he has only one kidney, could this be anything to do with what is going on? What is wrong????

Hello,

Probably your child was suffering from some sort of viral fever as you have not mentioned any other complaints. Kids usually have post viral weakness, lethargy, and poor appetite which resolve with time, mostly in a week.

Single kidney does not cause any problem in usual seasonal illnesses.
