What Is The Treatment For Hemorrhoids That Are Unresponsive To Laser?
Hi, I am 55 years old woman that don't have any children. I have hemorrhoids and they are becoming painful and every stool it is bleeding. my doctor used the elastic treatment but it didn't work and also another specialist used lazar treatment which didn't work and I have more pain. Would you please help me what to do? My father had colon cancer I am afraid when ever I see blood. I did the colonoscopy 3 years ago and nothing bad was nothing found. Thank you very much for your help. I am very desperate.
Anal hemorrhoids is a pathological disease that affect 50% of population. But we should differentiate hemorrhoids from: -Anal tags. -Fibrous anal polyp. -Anal fissure. -Dermatitis. -Perianal haematoma. -Rectal prolapse. -Rectal tumor.
You need an other colonscopy that will estimate colon condition.
You should avoid spicy and non fiber foods from your diet.
There is an conservative treatment(non-surgical). One of option available is Rubber band ligation (RBL). Of course, there are several options availbale, but RBL is the most effective procedure.
Before you start this procedure you need treatment that contains lactulose for 4 days, metronidazole 500mg 3 pills a day for a week and high fiber diet.
