What Is The Treatment For Hemoglobin Problem ?

My father having problem of HB. B for 15 days it was 5.00 and than we have supply VITCOFOL injection 5 times. But no such progress HB remain same. After that we have supply 3 bottles of blood and HB was 6.1. What may be reason..? what will be your advise..?

First need to know the what type of deficiency it is,one it could be due to low iron or else could be due to b12 defi.there is also need to be why hb is very much low ?first look to all this and then comes the treament,otherwise any treatment without knowing the cause will not give any result.
