What Is The Treatment For Excessive Sleep And Weight Gain?

i am a patient of vertigo for about 5 years. i have taken many drugs following the prescriptions of doctors but not get any good result.3 months before now a nuro medicine specialist prescribed SIBELIUM 5mg 2 times in a day.i feel very good and it relief me about 90%. but problem is that i sleep howl day and my weight gain about 6 kilo.what can i do now.

hi,
It is good that you responded to sibelium. unfortunately it is a sedating drug, the reason why you are sleeping all the day. It also increases your appetite there by causing weight gain.
There is no remedy for it except to either reduce the dose or to stop it while you seek another drug.
It seems your vertigo is episodic, hence you may try reducing the dose after consulting your neurologist.
