What Is The Treatment For Ear Infection?

I have had some crud in my nose and head for a few days. No runny nose or nose blowing even though I thought I would feel better if i could blow. So a few hours ago I blew real hard 3 times. On the 3rd blow, some membrane or cartlidge or something passed through my nostril on the left side. Also had an ear infection on left side. What could have this been? No snot, a little red tinge muscus surrounded this piece of tissue. About the width of a popsicle stick and about 1/2 long.

Hello,

Probably, the crusting may detached forcefully lead to mucosal damage and bleeding. Use normal saline nasal spray thrice a day for five days.

Still have doubt, please consult your ENT specialist, he will do nasal endoscopy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
