What Is The Treatment For IBS?

Hi, mhi im a female 24 years old with IBS pericaldial effucion asma hipothyroid dipression i had h pylori few month ago and i had a surgery 2 month ago for pelvis congestion sindrome i had an embolization the question is why i have too much pain in my abdomen area and a lot of diarreha and it does not go away im having lot of pain in my abdomen area now and my stomac and i dont know wath to do? please help meay I answer your health q

Hello,
I can understand your concern for your symptoms.
1) Abdominal pain might be due to IBS and/or H.pylori associated gastritis or post-embolization abdominal pain (due to reduced blood flow to target organ)
2) If yo have associated symptom of nausea, vomiting then it is advisable to undergo repeat upper GI endoscopy with RUT test to rule out infection.
3) If you have associated symptom of diarrhea then your should take treatment for IBS which include anti-spasmodic medication for pain, intestinal digestive enzyme supplementation to promote digestion and anti-acidity medication.
4) Due to previous history of embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome, it is recommended to confirm adequate blood flow with CT scan. Insufficient blood flow following embolization may produce pain sometimes.
