What Is The Solution For Ear Infection, Eardrum Swelling And A Crackling Noise In Ear?

I have a ver bad ear infection according to my Dr, there is a swelling in front of the eardrum, the pain has been unbearable. I am on day 2 of antibiotics, there is still some pain, but the ear is starting to develop the 'crackling' noise, is this a good sign that fluid is starting to move?

Hello

yes it looks like the infection may be subsiding and localizing with the antibiotics!
please continue them and meet your doctor if the pain increases or you develop fever.

Thanks
