What Is The Significance Of My TFT Test Report?

I am a 59yr old lady with 3yrs into menopause I also have Hypothroidism I have been very unwell for over a year now and my latest GP who is a Locum is really not interested in my health. My latest Full blood count has not been discussed with me and I am very worried because I can not take Levothyroxine as I am very sick on them I have asked my gp if I am neutropenic but he is just not interested and keeps saying I am imagining things. My latest TFT test is Free T4 12.4 TSH 7.40 IgG 12.4 Iga 2.3 IgM 1.6 Vit B12 508 Serum Folate 6.5 Protein electrophoresis Normal Pattern Anti TPO Ab ^5 I would be grateful for your comments as I am very concerned about my health at the moment.

The best treatment for your case is to start with low dose of 25 mcg of Thyroxine (Thyronorm) and keep checking the Thyroid function test at regular interval to monitor the treatment and whether it is correcting the underlying deficiency or not.
There should not be any fear in starting this treatment.
