What Is The Remedy For Burning Sensation In My Chest After Eating Hot Food?

I ate some food , not realising it has been over microwaved and think I may have burned my esophagus because when it hit my esophagus about middle of my chest, I felt a strong burning sensation. I drank some water a bit too late, now I have an aching, burning feeling in my chest.
How long will it take for this to heal?

hi
i dont think it is the hot food that you took that cause you to have that feeling.
if the food was full of spices that could have caused the issue.
from your symptoms i would say you are having hyperacidity.
you could try taking a glass of milk or custard to reduce the acid or antiacids.
if symptoms persist you need to get a barium swallow done to see the state of your esophagus.
hope have answered your query
thanking you.
