What Is The Red Itchy Rashes After Burning My Arm When On Antibiotic Ointment?

I burned my arm with a curling wand and have been treating it with antibiotic ointment however, in the past days it is very red around the outer edges and itches. It almost looks like a ringworm now. I have been having sewer problems and I was concerned that I could have gotten it infected. Is this a possibility?

Usually itching is a sign of healing as healing causes wound to contract , and this thing feel like itch. I would like you to show your wound to your doctor, he will help you whether it is infection or not. I hope you are not feeling any fever or loss of appetite.
