What Is The Reason For Palpitations While Changing Positions Or Rolling Over During Sleep?

Hi, I am wondering why palpitations occur when changing positions or while rolling over during sleep. I have had a normal echo and PVC's and PAC's on a holter. I also notice these palpitations more in the morning when first waking up and moving around

Hi,

Position change may increase or decrease heart rate that is normal phenomenon.

Standing from lying down position heart rate may increase blood pressure for four minutes.

Deep inspiration may increase the heart rate. Lying supine and prone position may also vary heart rate.

Palpitations may be due to anxiety or anemia or infection or hyperthyroidism may aggravate the problem.

Avoid coffee and tea, smoking and alcohol. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
