What Is The Reason For Pain Just Below The Sternum Inspite Of Taking Indigestion Medicine?

I got a pain in the stomach about the ceentre diaphram just below end of sturnum sitting in aa chair leaning slightly forwaar aabout 1 am, went to bed taking 2 Renies. Pain hasnt moved. Have tried cup of plain boiling water and a Morrissonnss inddigestion elief tablet 4 am ish.

Hi, Pain in epigastric region can be due to peptic ulcer disease, pancreatitis , gallstones or sometimes due to cardiac disease. Kindly take some antispasmodic and proton pump inhibitor. In case pain persists or increases in intensity, then you might need to consult your physician and need investigations. Hope it helps.
