What Is The Reason For Late Periods And Negative Pregnancy Test Results?

I m 4 days late on my period and I m never late and get my period every month I took two pregnancy test today and both came out negative.. I don t know what s going on. But what I know is the doctor told my mom she can t take home test due to something be low that those test don t work only blood test

Hello madam,from the history you have given....well pregnancy should be ruled out first. ..Sometimes in very early weeks of gestation, the urine pregnancy test may show faintly positive line or will not turn out to be positive, this is because of low levels of beta HCG in early weeks of pregnancy. ...In that case you may have to wait for few days , may be 5 to 7 days and repeat the urine test or can do a serum beta HCG(blood test), where pregnancy can be detected earlier...Sometimes stress can also delay the periods....hope i was helpful to you. ..
