What Is The Reason For Having Needle Prick Feeling Throughout The Body And Lightheadedness?

I have a needle pin feeling in different parts of my body throughout the day and sometimes light headed not really sure what is going on any suggestions.......I have an appointment set with a neurologist in 3 weeks that was the earliest appt time available

Hi,

This can be due to many reasons like neuropathy which in turn may be due to many causes like diabetes, alcohol, autoimmune disease etc. Your symptoms may also be due to just anxiety, wherein it is common to feel both light-headed and have abnormal sensations. Some vitamin deficiencies can also lead to this. Some people report having these symptoms when their blood pressure is high. I think you should not worry and wait for your appointment with the neurologist. It is unlikely to be anything serious.
