What Is The Medication For Hyper Acidity?

hi, my boyfriend is suffering from hyperacidity for almost 4 years now. he has been confined once over a year ago. and now, its giving him severe pain once again. i believe that his hyperacidity is causd by alcohol, tobacco, fatty foods, etc. he has been given a very effective medicine before but we really cant remember what it is. i hope you can help me rememeer his meds or at least something that could help take his pain away. please answer asap.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern.

He needs certain life style changes as well as medication for the better management of of the gastroesophagial reflux disease.

Avoid oily, spicy, junk foods.
Avoid late night meals and alcohol as well as the smoking.

Raise the head side of the bed about four inches while going sleep.
Avoid immediate post meal sleep,

Take pantoprozol plus domperidone combination medication like PANTOP D empty stomach early in morning half an hour before breakfast once daily.
